About Vision of One

My goal is simple, to share my visions around the world…

A photo from a recent adventure to Taroko Gorge in Hualien County, Taiwan

Hi, I am Bobby, and I am glad you are here. Ever since I was a little kid, I have enjoyed photos. I loved looking at old family albums and taking pictures on one of the family’s old cameras. One of my uncles had a DSLR that he brought around when he visited, and I always knew I would have one day.

As it does with many of us, life began to get very busy, and I relied on my phone for photography as camera phones became increasingly decent options to take photos with. It would take getting asked to take photos of a wedding ceremony with an older camera, one lens, and no lighting during the pandemic to return to me. Even with severe tech limitations, I had a fantastic time and decided I was going to fulfill my childhood dream. I invested in a Canon EOS R, a couple of affordable RF lenses, a few affordable Sigma Lenses, and an EF to RF adaptor; the rest is history. Shortly afterward, I started my photography page @visionofone on Instagram to share my work, and now, I have decided I also want a website to build out a portfolio.

Ultimately, I'm grateful to have remembered something that brought me so much joy growing up, and I only hope my work brings you joy in some way.

I don’t have a particular specialty or focus currently, as I am trying to learn and improve a wide range of photography and editing skills. I typically take the most photos while exploring new parts of the world as I travel. I have also taken photos for weddings, engagements, sports teams, portraits for friends and family, house warmings, products, businesses, and, of course, landscapes and cityscapes. I have also recently started to get involved in analog (film) photography, which has been very exciting. If you are interested in collaborating or are looking for a photographer, please check out the contact page and let me know; I’m happy to chat!
